About The Position

Lorien Mount Airy is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team! As a Maintenance Tech, you play an important role in supporting the care and comfort of our patients and residents. This position is responsible for the proper and safe preparation, repair, application, and ongoing maintenance of painted and related surfaces—both interior and exterior—throughout the community. Requirements

  • previous experience in maintenance or related fields
  • Ability to handle a physical workload 💪

Nice To Haves

  • Carpentry experience preferred 🪚
  • Strong HVAC knowledge or certification ❄️🔥
  • Plumbing, painting, and electrical experience 🚰💡
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment 🛠️

Responsibilities

  • Completing work and repair orders in a timely manner ⏱️
  • Performing routine preventive maintenance both inside and outside of the building 🔧
  • Overseeing work performed by outside contractors as necessary 👷‍♂️
  • Maintaining painted and finished surfaces throughout the community 🎨
  • Assisting with general facility repairs and upkeep 🧰
