About The Position

Responsibilities Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of industrial heat treating furnaces, vacuum washers, conveyor systems,blasting equipment, and general building maintenance. Duties include: machine troubleshooting and maintenance metal fabrication/welding pipe fitting Hours are: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some flexibility . There is a $1.25/hr shift differential for all hours worked between 5 pm and 5 am. Some overtime as needed. There will be occassional travel to customer locations as required. A valid driver's license is required. Qualifications The successful candidate will have: A high school education or equivalent. Strong mechanical competence. Basic math comprehension skills. Welding experience is a plus. Ability and willingness to work OT and weekends, as needed. Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, repetitive motion bending and stretching, and standing. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion, with assistance. Minimal electrical knowledge required. A minimum of 5 years maintenance experience with machinery. Starting rate is from $31+/hr. Higher rates would depend upon experience. Benefits package with a zero deductible health care plan , dental, vision, short and long term disability, 401(k), PTO.
