About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with a great attitude to join our team. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations, including cleaning of grounds, work orders and turning of units. This person will support our property in McCloud, CA and may occasionally need to travel to assist other properties within the portfolio. We are looking for a skilled maintenance person that has good customer service, is pro-active, has a great attitude and can work in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Comprehend and communicate in the English language, both orally and in writing
Basic computer skills required
Problem-solving skills required
Valid Driver’s license (Required)
Reliable transportation is required

Nice To Haves

2 or more years in a maintenance role
Additional technical training certifications are a plus
Experience with plumbing, appliance repair and painting preferred
Good customer service
Pro-active
Great attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Perform work order repairs
Perform make ready duties for vacant units, including painting and repairs
Coordinate with vendors, community manager and other maintenance staff
Upkeep of common area grounds and offices on daily basis
Cleaning of laundry rooms, mailbox areas and ensure trash enclosures are clean and hazard free
Deliver resident notices as requested by Manager
Walk the property and promptly report any violations or work needed to the Property Manager
Perform additional duties as required
Handle various maintenance duties
Interpret and understand maintenance work order information generated from software
Effectively oversee work progress of vendors or outside contractors
Be Available for After Hours On-Call Emergencies as needed
Work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and stay organized
Driving is required
