We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of maintenance experience — and experience in an Assisted Living or Healthcare environment is a major plus. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' maintenance experience , ideally with HVAC specialization
  • Strong competency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do attitude
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Professional, courteous, and resident-focused demeanor

Nice To Haves

  • experience in an Assisted Living or Healthcare environment is a major plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular HVAC system maintenance , troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimal heating and cooling performance for residents and staff
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, heat and A/C, carpentry, and building/grounds systems for all Van Dyk properties
  • Complete apartment turnover repairs and upgrades in a timely manner
  • Respond to emergency calls and maintenance issues across the main building, corporate office, and rental properties
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including after-hours, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
  • Provide outstanding customer service to residents, tenants, families, guests, and staff
  • Diagnose issues quickly, determine correct repairs, and execute them safely and efficiently
  • Ensure adherence to building codes, HVAC safety standards, and regulatory requirements
