Maintenance Technician Olen is seeking a skilled and motivated, full-time Maintenance Technician for our multifamily apartment community in Gilbert, AZ: Highland Groves. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall satisfaction and well-being of our residents. Technical expertise and dedication to quality workmanship will contribute to creating a comfortable and enjoyable living environment for our residents. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks related to building and apartment maintenance, including unit turnovers, completing work orders, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs, and providing exceptional customer service.

  • Perform apartment maintenance tasks, including maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing or replacing items such as: Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Appliances
  • Air conditioning
  • Assist with the preparation of vacant apartments for occupancy and helping with apartment turnover in general.
  • Participate in community maintenance duties, including building maintenance, preventative maintenance, service request completion, groundskeeping, and other tasks as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one to two years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and in a positive manner with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
  • Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, occasionally moving or maneuvering up to 100 pounds.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Must provide and use their own hand tools to perform duties required unless otherwise specified by the property.
