About The Position

HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS LOMA LINDA IS NOW HIRING FOR A PART-TIME MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PERFORMING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE TASKS, REPAIRS, AND PREVENTIVE UPKEEP THROUGHOUT THE HOTEL. THIS POSITION ENSURES THAT ALL GUEST ROOMS, PUBLIC SPACES, AND BACK-OF-HOUSE AREAS ARE SAFE, FUNCTIONAL, AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION CONSISTENT WITH THE HOTELS’ STANDARDS.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Previous maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to guest service requests and maintenance work orders.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs to ensure proper functioning of all systems.
• Conduct safety checks and equipment inspections regularly.
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping and front desk teams to address maintenance priorities.
• Maintain accurate logs of repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies or parts are needed.
