The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.A Day In The Life Maintain and repair plant manufacturing equipment using blueprints, schematics, multi-meter, and other specialty tools Perform regular checks and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance tasks and ensure minimal disruption to production Effectively communicate with service technicians and suppliers to troubleshoot equipment Provide support and recommendations during installations & start-up of new equipment Perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work Document preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and other recordkeeping utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Database System Develop and implement improvement ideas Perform other miscellaneous work assignments as directed Diagnose and rebuild small tools & supporting equipment
