2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Responsible for providing installation and maintenance of industrial equipment. Ensures the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Includes installing new equipment, performing preventative maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. Job Summary: Installs and/or performs preventative maintenance for production equipment. Services and maintains all equipment. Includes motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment. Inspects and assesses the functionality of production machines. Troubleshoots mechanical breakdowns. Escalates issues to plant management team. Adjusts mechanical parts for repairs and machine upgrades. Conducts routine and preventative maintenance and safety checks. Communicates with the production team and maintains a safe and sanitary work environment. Prepares, submits, and maintains reports as needed.
Requirements
- Previous work experience in an Industrial Maintenance Position
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare basic reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written or verbal form.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 40+ pounds.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
