Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required, technical or trade school preferred
  • Strong electrical background with experience in industrial or commercial facilities
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance programs
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems for work order management and PM tracking
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman or electrical certification/license
  • Experience in a manufacturing
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
  • Experience with safety programs such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on electrical systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure according to established schedules
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues
  • Respond to and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Accurately document work performed, parts used, and labor time in the CMMS
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Support maintenance of other building systems as needed (plumbing, mechanical, etc.)
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvements
  • Communicate effectively with operations and contractors regarding maintenance needs and status
