About The Position

The purpose of a Maintenance Technician is to maintain conditions of operating equipment. Repair or replacement of failed components, the ability to troubleshoot unknown issues with equipment, and make adjustments to centerline operational output of assigned equipment. Perform mechanical and electrical P.M.s on various manufacturing and packaging equipment and electrical panels. Document WO’s/PM’s using computerized maintenance management system. Troubleshooting and repairing routine electrical and mechanical problems on assigned equipment, conduct preventative maintenance, and support Operations in equipment setup and changeover. Participate on MSE teams, train operators in AM activities, and conduct Breakdown Analysis.

Responsibilities

Owns PM systems for the Line, focusing on PM compliance, planned work %, SAP utilization and the break down analysis process.
Drives results in Planned and Unplanned Downtime, as well as Maintenance & Repair costs for line
Technical expert of related equipment and discuss, coach, and train technicians and operators on this equipment.
Makes business decisions based on quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Participates in the identification and correction of abnormalities for the line.
Represent maintenance team in the daily FMOS meetings. Provides performance data for selected machines and communicates action plans and completed work effectively.
