About The Position

The Maintenance Technician position is a full-time role for the 2nd Shift, operating Monday through Friday from 3:45 PM to 12:15 AM. This role is crucial for ensuring that production, HVAC, facility equipment, and infrastructure are maintained in excellent working condition. The technician will be responsible for detecting and correcting errors to prevent damage to machinery and products, utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for documentation, and operating equipment as required. The role demands adherence to Health, Safety, and Quality policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and requires a flexible schedule, including overtime, to meet production demands. Requirements

A High School or Vo-Tech School graduate or equivalent
Proficient in basic computer use – able to quickly learn and efficiently use new systems
Reliable with good attendance record
Safely operate and use standard shop equipment

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of and/or previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Technical certification in maintenance or working towards mechanic, electrical, or other equipment related discipline

Responsibilities

Assist in keeping Production, HVAC, facility equipment and infrastructure in good working order
Detect and assist in correcting errors before the machine, or the products it produces, are damaged
Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to communicate and document work performed on equipment
Be able to effectively operate equipment as required
Work a flexible schedule, including overtime, as needed based on production demands
Adhere to and communicate to others the Health, Safety and Quality policies, including use of PPE
