The Maintenance Technician is responsible for production equipment maintenance and ensures continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modifications, as well as perform basic mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified. Performs responsibilities of production corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery. Communicates with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas. Responsible for keeping records of all preventative maintenance and troubleshooting works completed. Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment following all safety requirements. Prepare and maintains maintenance related documents, daily reports, check sheets, preventative maintenance documents. Research and request quotations from suppliers (equipment, tools, fixtures, purchased components, etc.) Other tasks as assigned.
