This entry-level Maintenance Technician position is an integral part of the maintenance department. The role involves training and learning to perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment, as well as becoming proficient in 6s cleaning practices for machines and the maintenance area. U.S. citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role, as it grants access to certain necessary systems and information under the program/contract.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years or more industrial maintenance working directly with machines (doing both electrical and mechanical).
  • Or currently be enrolled in a technical related program/degree program
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Train and learn to perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Learn and become proficient in the 6s cleaning of machines and the maintenance area
  • Perform related duties as may be necessary to support the needs of the business.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
  • Operate PIVs (Powered Industrial Vehicles) such as forklifts, yard cranes, articulated manlifts, etc.
  • Perform Elevated work (on ladders, elevated work platforms)
