About The Position

The Lodge at Natchez Trace is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting abilities, works independently, and takes pride in preventative maintenance and timely repairs.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Valid driver’s license (preferred)

Nice To Haves

Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or commercial facilities is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, checking and replacing filters, and inspecting systems for proper operation
Troubleshoot and repair facility systems as needed, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment inventory
Conduct routine safety checks to support life safety and regulatory compliance
Assist with room turnovers, minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations
