About The Position

The Lodge at Natchez Trace is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting abilities, works independently, and takes pride in preventative maintenance and timely repairs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or commercial facilities is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, checking and replacing filters, and inspecting systems for proper operation
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility systems as needed, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment inventory
  • Conduct routine safety checks to support life safety and regulatory compliance
  • Assist with room turnovers, minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations
