About The Position

DirectHire Maintenance Technician Direct opportunity Rate: $60-75K Hours: 7am-3pm Dayton, OH Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and repair equipment utilizing knowledge, blueprints, schematic, and drawings - Perform preventive maintenance on all machines per PM schedule - Update and maintain all machine preventive maintenance records - Perform building maintenance on electrical, plumbing and building structure - Lock-out/Tag-out any unsafe machinery and use LO/TO for safety purposes - Process improvement suggestions - Assist with installation of new equipment - Operate forklift to move material and equipment within the shop - Operate scissor lift, boom lift and work at heights - Fabricate and weld to build from drawings or sketches - Install, cut, thread pipe to install on machines for pneumatic - Install and run conduit and wire - Frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs - 8-10 hours per day standing moving around facility including stairs - Regular operations of overhead crane, rigging and forklift truck - Work with 110v-277v lighting - Troubleshoot 12vDC-480VAC systems - Work in confined spaces - Regularly works above 6ft on booms, lifts, and ladders Requirements: - Knowledge of machine repair and maintenance demonstrated mechanical and/ or electrical aptitude - 5 to 8 years’ experience in stamping machinery - Machine electrical knowledge - Ability to work overtime, and some weekends as required - Work independently or in a team - Understand and know hydraulics and pneumatics - Metal stamping experience highly preferred - CNC repair and PM knowledge - Knowledge of sensors, PNP and NPN - Continuing education/training - Siemens and/or Allen Bradly PLC knowledge a plus - Knowledge and understanding of MRP systems - Requirements to meet OSHA/Safety regulations by wearing protective eyewear, earplugs and safety toed shoes are required If you possess the skills we are looking for and ready to make a positive impact, apply NOW! Requirements
