GENERAL SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician performs routine activities throughout the facility to maintain production equipment and prevent downtime. These activities include preventive maintenance, daily equipment repairs, following up on work orders, and trouble shooting to identify equipment issues. This role is also required to periodically be on call to cover non routine maintenance activities that occur during off hours. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Monthly preventive maintenance tasks Troubleshooting electric and pneumatic pumps Repair and rebuilding of diaphragm pumps from ¾” to 3” sizes Changing of mechanical seals in centrifugal pumps Repair and rebuilding of gear pumps Shaft alignment for pumps Minor electrical work General facility upkeep and routine repairs Metal work a plus (mig, tig, stick welding, torch and plasma cutting) Ability to work on projects and work orders with minimum supervision Basic computer skills (create and fill out work orders on a web based system) 3-5 years of Industrial Maintenance a plus Routine lifting (50+ lbs) required Exp with Allen Bradley Drives or other PLC’s
