The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the community buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role ensures a safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Requirements

  • Previous maintenance experience preferred (apartment, senior living, or hospitality setting a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate and respectful attitude toward seniors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
  • Complete work orders promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist with apartment turns, including painting, repairs, and minor installations.
  • Maintain community grounds and common areas to ensure a clean, safe environment.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
