Noise levels on production floor require hearing protection, temperature fluctuates dependent on season. Working around powered industrial vehicles. Production floor can become slippery with oil. What You’ll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be part of our team located in Montpelier, IN. You’ll get to:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  • At least 5 years of maintenance experience
  • Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Office software
  • Must maintain a minimum personal tool inventory to complete most common maintenance jobs
  • Mathematical ability (add, subtract, multiply and divide), practical application of percentages and ratios
  • Ability to unload, transport and place heavy materials weighing up to 100lbs in appropriate locations to repair machinery and equipment

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment per established schedules
  • Disassemble and re-assemble machinery and equipment per established guidelines
  • Perform various machinery and equipment repairs, installation or modifications
  • Operate PIVs and aerial lifts to move and maintain equipment
  • Miscellaneous repair to building and equipment including painting
  • Record work performed in the maintenance log
