About The Position

This position will be responsible for installing, repairing, and performing maintenance on a variety of systems and components in a residential setting (Rustic Creek/ Austin region). Areas of maintenance include but are not limited to HVAC systems, electrical components, plumbing systems and swimming pools.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Certification from an approved HVAC trade school.
  • 1-2 years of experience in residential maintenance including HVAC, electrical and plumbing skills.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe manner.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Must have good customer service skills, as well as good verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to be a self-starter with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • CPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of all Nova Recovery properties
  • Maintenance of the exterior grounds, interior and exterior maintenance of the properties buildings.
  • Picking up trash, debris around the properties and properly disposing in trash receptacles or storage areas.
  • Assist with service calls and maintenance repairs in apartment complex and residential properties.
  • Use blueprints or design specifications to install HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems when necessary.
  • Installing electrical systems, light fixtures, electrical outlets, and circuit breakers.
  • Threading conduit ends and connecting couplings and conduit fittings using appropriate tools.
  • Hooking up appliances for power.
  • Installing ceiling fans.
  • Changing light bulbs and AC filters.
  • Troubleshooting electrical problems.
  • Installation and patching drywall within the buildings.
  • Internal and external sanding and light touch up painting.
  • Minor building projects.
  • Assisting with installation, repair and maintenance of pipes used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.
  • Perform general pool maintenance when necessary.
  • Demonstrate competence in the Safety Procedures of Nova Recovery LLC.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters pertaining to clients, staff, and any other information this position may be privy to.
  • Act as a representative of Nova Recovery LLC at work and in the community by representing a favorable image of the Company to all outside contacts with courteous and tactful behavior toward clients, visitors, and other staff.
  • Dress in an appropriate manner according to the dress code.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Responsible for being at work, on time, per the established department schedule.
  • Practice in compliance with the Code of Ethical Conduct.
  • Comply with all applicable Nova Recovery LLC Policies and Procedures.
  • All other duties and/or special projects as assigned by Management.
