About The Position

EMERGING ADVANCED PRODUCTS, LLC is currently seeking dynamic candidates for the position of: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN 1st SHIFT 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Emerging Advanced Products, LLC is a 182,000 square foot manufacturing facility for body structures & assemblies, modular assemblies - FEM, seating structure & components, powertrain & fuel systems, thermal heat shields. We have stamping presses ranging from 200 to 3000 Ton. JOB SUMMARY: Performs and leads tasks in the installation, repair, maintenance and operation of mechanical, electrical, environmental controls, and facility controls. Supports other teams and projects in areas like plant safety compliance, quality, IATF compliance, environmental compliance, production attainment and cost goals. Ensures facilities and equipment are operating properly and efficiently all with the goal of reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and ensuring safety.

  • Trade school/degree.
  • 1-3 years in metal stamping manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in pneumatic/hydraulic repairs.
  • Basic electrical.
  • Adheres to Plant safety rules and processes.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Stamping Press Maintenance & Repair: 5 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing plant maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, stamping presses and facilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with the flexibility of adapting to changing priorities.
  • Participates in continuous improvement.
  • Develops and implements maintenance practice/improvements.
  • Experience in electrical circuits: 3 phase circuits, motors and switches.
  • Robots and control troubleshooting; able to read PLC program.
  • Repair any pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Print reading ability; basic symbol and circuits for both electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic.
