Maintenance Technician (2pm-10pm)
About The Position
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Are you technically knowledgeable and at home around state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and facilities? Requirements
- Two or more years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to repair and maintain fabrication equipment, welding equipment, and building facilities.
- High school diploma required or GED equivalent.
- Must have own hand tools.
- Forklift certified or able to obtain forklift certification.
- Understand and practice safe working procedures.
- Regular attendance is essential.
Responsibilities
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, controls, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions related to the equipment.
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and by using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Remove and replace defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools, cranes, and hoists.
- Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
