You will maintain and repair production equipment to ensure reliable, efficient operations. In this hands-on role, you’ll troubleshoot mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, complete roll changes, and support equipment installations—all while upholding safety standards, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to a clean, well-organized facility. Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 4 day schedule Rotational Shift Hours: Follows an 8-week rotational cycle of 6 weeks on Day Shift and 2 weeks on Afternoon Shift. Day Shift Hours: 6:00am-4:00pm Afternoon Shift Hours: 2:00pm-12:00am

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of plastic extrusion experience preferred
  • Ability to work with measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, etc.
  • Solid technical/mechanical aptitude
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, pull and lift throughout a 12- hour period. (Our lift limit is 65bs)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Focus on safety and quality production
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • 2-5 years of plastic extrusion experience
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Previous manufacturing/industrial Maintenance experience

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting mechanical processes and controls as assigned.
  • Assembling and installing new production equipment.
  • Making mechanical repairs.
  • Completing preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Performing roll changes as dictated by the production schedule.
  • Performing facility maintenance tasks.
  • Operating electrical and mechanical test equipment.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and good housekeeping conditions.
  • Ensuring that all paperwork is completed properly and accurately.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints/schematics as they relate to electrical and mechanical requirements.
