About The Position

This role is primarily focused on completing apartment make-readies (unit turns) and supporting general maintenance across our Metro East - St. Louis-area properties. ABOUT YOU You are dependable, skilled, and take pride in delivering clean, move-in-ready apartment homes. Your strength is in apartment unit turns (make-readies) and you are comfortable completing them efficiently and independently. You have experience in apartment maintenance, hotel maintenance, property maintenance, or handyman work, including basic plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, and general apartment repairs. Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience.
  • Strong make-ready / unit turn experience required.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in varied conditions.
  • Comfortable using smartphones and digital reporting tools.
  • Employment contingent upon successful background screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade experience in plumbing or electrical preferred.
  • EXPERIENCE IN APARTMENT MAINTENANCE, PROPERTY MAINTENANCE, HOTEL MAINTENANCE, HANDYMAN SERVICES, OR RESIDENTIAL REPAIR WORK IS STRONGLY PREFERRED.

Responsibilities

  • Complete apartment make-readies from start to finish.
  • Perform general repairs including minor carpentry, painting, fixture replacement, drywall, and hardware installation.
  • Complete basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, disposals, supply lines).
  • Perform minor electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches).
  • Ensure units are fully functional, clean, and move-in ready.
  • Respond to work orders and document work through digital systems.
  • Maintain organized and safe maintenance areas.
