About The Position

Penn Waste has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician to work at our Recycle site in Manchester, PA. As a tech in our recycling facility, your focus will be on the overall health/maintenance of the plant and all supporting machine centers. This will involve: inspections, diagnosing, and issuing repairs to mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, nematic systems, air sorting systems. robotic systems, conveyor systems, and rolling stock equipment. Waste Connections is an integrated solid waste services company that provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in mostly exclusive and secondary markets. Requirements

Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the field preferred
Ability to work an average of 40-50 hours a week
Schedule will be 1st Shift Sunday-Wednesday- 4:30am to 5pm
Saturday as needed.
Ability to lift up to 75lbs

Responsibilities

Perform service calls from production for plant issues and breakdowns.
Preform minor to major repairs/PM maintenance for recycling machine center/supporting machine centers and rolling stock.
Maintain a safe, clean environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA, NFPA standards.
