Maintenance Technician I
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the upkeep and overall appearance of property facilities, including guest rooms, cottages, RV sites, public amenity areas, marina areas, and business offices. This position combines maintenance support and porter duties, helping ensure the property remains clean, safe, and fully operational for guests and staff. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and repairs, assisting with preventative maintenance tasks, responding to guest service requests, and supporting general property upkeep. Porter-related duties include assisting with trash removal, maintaining cleanliness of common areas, transporting supplies or equipment as needed, and supporting operational teams with property set-up, clean-up, and general facility support. The Maintenance Technician assists with the installation, servicing, replacement, and repair of property fixtures and equipment in a responsible and professional manner that meets company standards.
Requirements
- Ability to operate and maintain a golf cart
- Must be able to swim and work in a marina and open water environment
- Dependable, punctual, with an impeccable attendance record
- Accurate with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a service-oriented mindset
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and guests
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to stand and work on feet for extended periods
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Ability and experience operating and maintaining a 25-foot boat is strongly desired

- Skilled use of a variety of hand and power tools

- Window screens, runners, stripping, curtain rods, and blinds

- Electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches, and fuses
- Light fixtures
- HVAC systems
- Appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washers, and dryers
- Toilets, sinks, vanities, and disposals
- Pest control and removal
- Fencing repairs
- Gutters, downspouts, and connecting hoses
- Cleaning drains and sewer lines up to 4 inches
- Assisting with trash removal, property cleanliness, and porter support duties
- Transporting supplies, materials, and equipment across the property
- Supporting general property set-up and clean-up needs
