About The Position

Allow me to introduce you to Kutol Products Company, we are a thriving hand soap and hand sanitizer manufacturer operating out of our 205,000 square foot facility in Sharonville, Ohio. We process batches and package liquid hand soaps and hand sanitizers across a variety of filling lines. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join us in our purpose of providing “Clean Hands for a Healthy World.” At Kutol our maintenance teammates troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our manufacturing equipment, facility and operating needs in support of delivering quality product to our customers on-time. The varied duties of this role allow team members to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include:

Requirements

  • A degree in post-secondary vocational training or an associate degree in a related field with a minimum 2 year of work experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting or High School Diploma with equivalent work experience.
  • Machine knowledge/ manufacturing & operations skills
  • Electrical, electronic, plumbing and mechanical knowledge and abilities
  • Forklift certification
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use various hand tools; knowledge of machines and machine parts for repair of equipment and maintenance of building
  • Good interpersonal skill to effectively instruct, train and listen to TeamMates
  • Thorough understanding of production and manufacturing processes
  • Lifting and moving objects and machinery up to 60 pounds at varying frequencies
  • Various physical positions required to perform repair and maintenance duties
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record (trips to hardware store for parts, etc.)
  • Stand/walk combination 90% of the time
  • Dusty conditions and exposure to chemicals, fragrance, and perfumes

Responsibilities

  • Provides maintenance on machines, equipment, pumps and production tanks.
  • Completes preventative maintenance as scheduled
  • Works collaboratively with Teammates who operate equipment to keep machines up and running for production, may provide simple direction to those Teammates to improve run time.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs machines and gear boxes on production tanks.
  • Handles electrical repairs, wires lights and motors, plugs, switches and telephone lines.
  • Performs electronic maintenance such as voltage checks, input/output signals on PLC’s, motor testing/amperage checks and wiring in general.
  • Repairs plumbing and water lines as required.
  • Welds some equipment as needed.
  • Identifies parts needed for maintenance and repair for the plant, office and manufacturing machines & equipment.
  • Maintains 5S standards for safety and good housekeeping daily, so that the maintenance department remains clean and organized.
  • Follows established safety procedures in completion of repairs and tasks.
  • Provides updates as necessary to the Maintenance Supervisor, Shift Manager, and oncoming Maintenance Teammates at shift change.
  • Cleans and sanitizes machines several times per week.
  • May perform machine set ups and operate machines as needed.
  • Performs other related maintenance functions and projects as assigned.
