What does a successful Maintenance Technician do at Fiserv? You will join the team at our Nashville location to analyze, troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing equipment. You will commonly use test equipment such as VOM meters, current clamps, and other diagnostic equipment to accomplish the job. You will perform efficient repairs on production equipment that includes mills, lathes, robotic automation and other mechanical equipment.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • 3+ years of progressive maintenance repair and electronic/mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Ability and willingness to go a local community college to earn degree or certification with our Fiserv tuition reimbursement program.
  • Experience using a computer for data entry.
  • Experience with using hand tools like drill, screwdriver, and soldering equipment.
  • You will work an assigned schedule on: 2nd or 3rd shifts.
  • Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
  • Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
  • This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent
  • Military training and background.
  • 5+ years of production maintenance with electronic repair experience.
  • Experience with mills and lathes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair production equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic prints, OEM manuals.
  • Perform preventive maintenance procedures on production equipment throughout the plant.
  • Operate mills, lathes, welders, and other equipment to perform repairs.
  • Utilize PM software to track parts usage and equipment PM’s and in-house production monitoring to respond to machine downtime.
  • Perform these and other duties as assigned by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel.
