Requirements

High School diploma or GED required; additional technical education is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing with strong repair skills.
Knowledge of machine repair, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and janitorial skills.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
Understanding of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) is preferred.
Ability to follow verbal instructions and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

Perform regular preventative and emergency maintenance on various production equipment.
Maintain an inventory list of parts and order replacements as necessary.
Report any questionable conditions or equipment malfunctions to the relevant supervisors.
Coordinate with outside vendors for service and repairs.
Manage maintenance for building and grounds as directed.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, including USDA, FDA, and OSHA compliance.
