Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred, plus some building maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Problem-solving skills required to troubleshoot, repair, or locate sources to complete repairing of equipment.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• The successful candidate should be a self-starter, and have a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize on a daily basis.
• Must successfully complete all agency background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet Agency auto insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for maintaining facilities in accordance with generally approved safety and maintenance standards
• maintenance of grounds and parking areas in accordance with generally approved safety and maintenance standards.
• Will perform preventative maintenance, upkeep, janitorial duties, and repairs as needed.
• Respond to emergency calls.
• May work in adverse weather conditions.
• Travel amongst our LSS locations within Sioux Falls.
