Job Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance duties of Associations involving mostly exterior carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs and minor roofing repairs in addition to other exterior responsibilities to guarantee that the communities we manage are properly and safely maintained. Work hours: Hours and days this position will work M-F 8AM-5PM with occasional weekends.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• 2+ years of general, residential, maintenance experience.
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
• Customer service focused and team oriented.
• Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills.
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.); OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements and State or local governmental safety requirements.
• Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained.
• Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed.
• Maintain company issued vehicle (routine PM's, oil changes etc.), if applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
