About The Position

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), established in 1987, is the largest specialized provider of HIV/AIDS medical care in the nation, dedicated to offering cutting-edge medicine and advocacy regardless of a patient's ability to pay. The Maintenance Technician role is integral to AHF's mission and values, primarily focusing on the preventative maintenance of both leased and owned properties, as well as performing necessary property maintenance and renovations. This position requires the application of prior experience and supervisory skills to ensure all maintenance and renovation tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. Key aspects of the role include detecting and repairing malfunctions across AHF locations, upholding industry standards, and ensuring safety conditions. The Maintenance Technician is also expected to be a passionate advocate for AHF's initiatives and to align all actions with the organization's core values and mission. The role operates within a collaborative structure, reporting to the Healthy Housing Foundations’ Regional Property Operations Manager and working with other managers at various AHF sites to maintain the functionality of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Projecting and integrating AHF's mission and values to the public
  • Performing preventative maintenance of both leased and owned properties
  • Maintaining property and performing renovations as needed
  • Utilizing prior experience and supervisory skills to ensure all applicable maintenance and renovation work is completed successfully and in a timely manner
  • Detecting any malfunctions and conducting repairs at AHF locations
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety conditions
  • Being a passionate advocate for AHF's top initiatives
  • Ensuring that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind
  • Working as a part of a close-knit team to the Healthy Housing Foundations’ Regional Property Operations Manager as well as other managers at AHF sites on functionality of machinery and equipment
