Fogelman is hiring a certified Maintenance Technician for Sugarloaf Crossing Apartments, a 262-unit community located in the in Lawrenceville, GA. This position requires fluency in both Spanish and English to effectively serve our residents. Our Maintenance Technicians keep our properties running smoothly, and we seek individuals who want to share their skills with a team that values their work. The ideal candidate possesses 5 plus years of maintenance experience, is proficient with HVAC, plumbing, electrical & appliance repair, is HVAC certified, honest, a team player, and provides exemplary customer service skills. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. A valid Driver’s License is required for the position. Requirements

Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
Proficient in the following areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
Proficient in use of computers and online applications.
Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.

Nice To Haves

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for completing all service requests as assigned.
Responsible for the completion of all make-ready units.
Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
Responsible for supplying all personal tools.
Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment.
Assists in preventive maintenance projects.
Escalate unresolved service issues to the Service Director.
Participates in "on call" rotation and responds to emergency calls as needed.
Responsible for positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
Be aware of and operate within company safety policies at all times.
Weekend work may be required.
Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.
Other job duties as assigned.
