Wilson Trailer has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician Position. This is an excellent career opportunity with a leader in the truck trailer industry. We have an opening on our day shift, hours are currently 6:00 am until 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. We offer an attractive starting wage depending on experience along with scheduled increases and a full benefit package. Prefer 2-4 years of previous industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting. Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance work. Essential Functions Statement(s) Perform a safety inspection of hoist chains, forklifts, and all tools used to ensure safety. Ability to read and understand prints of machines and other items to be able to identify and fix issues that arise. Have an understanding of hydraulics and hydraulic schematics. Basic electrical knowledge. Have a valid drivers license. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance. Will need to work day shift or a split shift for a few months until training is complete. Will be required to take a written test on knowledge. Must be self motivated, can work independently or in a team. Can fabricate parts if need be using a mill, lathe and/or welder.
