About The Position

The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of duties in and around the facility buildings, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining equipment and machinery. Assists the Director of Plant Operations in completing tasks.

• High School diploma, or equivalent. Trade or vocational school preferred.
• Knowledge of facility maintence, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, commercial door hardward and landscape maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled prevantative maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental procedures;
• Complete weekly inventory of maintenance items for all trades;
• Checks lighting in and around the buildings, makes repairs as necessary;
• Maintains 100% adherance to department inspection schedules and procedures;
• Completes work orders
• On call roating weekends
