About The Position

In this function, you will: Troubleshoot,install, and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems. Diagnose equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures. Inspect, test, and operate machinery to identify malfunctions and minimize downtime. Dismantle and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, components, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Perform routine maintenance on drives, montors, belts, and fluid systems; replace filters as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and assembly manuals. Conduct skilled maintenance tasks including welding, brazing, soldering, and torch work. Execute work orders and scheduled preventive maintenance. Maintain safety compliance with Lockout/Tagout, housekeeping, and 5s standards. Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to ensure team continuity.

Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum Two-year technical degree OR equivalent experience covering electronics, electrical power, and controls, fluid power, MIG welding, HVAC, and basic PLC programming
  • Certificate by trade school or equivalent work experience related to Industrial or Mechanical Maintenance
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Pinckneyville, IL will be considered
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
