About The Position

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the optical lab. Principal duties and responsibilities include: Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintaining PM checklists Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time Servicing and maintaining Edgers, Generators and Blockers Cleaning, changing parts, performing checks, calibrating Identifying issues and performing repairs Assisting with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab Following all safety measures, "Lock out / Tag out" procedures and utilizing PPE if required

Requirements

  • 1-3 years previous experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.)
  • Must be able to read and write English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing desired, optical industry knowledge a plus but not required
