Maintenance Technician - Water Technologies

Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will perform proper diagnosis of any malfunctioning machinery, general repairs, installing new equipment and systems and preventative maintenance program on all assigned machinery as directed by supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., Home School Certification, or international equivalent to High School Diploma
- Minimum of 1 year of PVC plumbing, OR mechanical repair and maintenance work experience or training
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves
- Electrical panel board experience
- Motor Controls experience
- Positive displacements pump repair experience
- Trade school experience for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or mechanical repair is highly desired
- At least 1 year of Electrical install, repair, and maintenance work experience to include electronic troubleshooting, PLC programming, and 480V 3 Phase electrical repair and maintenance experience
- Electrical Certification
Responsibilities
- Follow good housekeeping practices by keeping maintenance and tool storage area neat and clean as well as timely cleanup of work area after each job is completed
- Install new equipment or rearrange existing equipment
- Is available on call for emergency repairs as needed to keep plant in good running order
- Maintain preventative maintenance records and perform preventative maintenance on plant and road equipment
- Other duties as assigned
