Our Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring our locations are not only operational but also inviting to our customers, donors, and team members. You’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our stores looking great and running smoothly. From sparkling windows and clean floors to basic repairs and seasonal snow removal, your work will directly shape the first impression our customers experience. This is a mobile role—you’ll travel between locations, working in all weather conditions and tackling a variety of tasks using hand and power tools.

Requirements

Experience in facility maintenance and repair.
Skills such as basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
Ability to read and interpret building plans and instructions.
Valid NYS Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Physical ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

Maintain store appearance including windows, floors, and entryways are your canvas.
Complete ad hoc maintenance projects.
Drive company vehicles professionally to our different locations.
Keep tools and equipment clean, organized, and ready for action.
Operate and maintain cleaning and maintenance equipment.
Perform seasonal snow removal.
Follow all safety guidelines to protect yourself, your coworkers, and our customers.
