About The Position

Trex is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to join their Operations team at a new facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role is crucial for supporting production equipment repairs and upgrades, as well as performing general and preventive maintenance. The position requires a high level of accountability, coordination, and a focus on relationships. Initially, the role will involve regular travel to other established Trex locations for training. Trex is recognized as the world's #1 brand of sustainability-made, wood-alternative decking and deck railing, proudly manufactured in the USA. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience
  • A High School Diploma (or GED)
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Welding experience
  • Ability to wear the required PPE
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to attend off-site training classes (1-2 weeks per year, with proper notice)

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree in industrial maintenance
  • Experience as a Maintenance Lead or Maintenance Specialist

  • Maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems on-site.
  • Learn to troubleshoot programmable logic controls and understand ladder logic.
  • Responsible for metal fabrication, machining, and welding as required.
  • Support engineering in the improvement of and/or development and implementation of new products and processes.
  • Participation in housekeeping activities to keep up plant appearance and ensure it operates acceptably and safely.
  • Participate in additional duties as required by the department team lead or manager.
