Role Mission The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring equipment uptime, facility reliability, and operational continuity. This hands‑on role supports preventive maintenance, equipment rebuilds, and continuous improvement initiatives while serving as a role model within the maintenance team and a key partner to production and support functions across the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior Maintenance Technician experience
  • Experience maintaining PM systems (LIMBLE or similar)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, documentation, recordkeeping, and purchasing platforms (e.g., NetSuite)
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Mechanical aptitude; machining, fabrication, MIG welding, fork truck operation
  • Basic electrical and PLC knowledge
  • Problem‑solving and project management skills
  • Basic understanding of hydraulics and presses
  • Ability to interpret equipment, construction, and facility drawings
  • Self‑directed; results‑driven; detail‑oriented; analytical; adaptable; high energy; able to multitask and motivate others; maintains focus under shifting priorities
  • Availability to support overtime and weekend work as needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage the preventive maintenance (PM) system and spare parts inventory
  • Perform furnace and equipment rebuilds to prevent unscheduled downtime
  • Collect and analyze equipment data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Plan and execute maintenance repairs and projects, including coordination with external service providers
  • Support installation, repair, and maintenance of machines, furnaces, and facility systems
  • Lead assigned continuous improvement projects
  • Monitor employee performance and maintain training competency
  • Ensure adherence to safety processes and procedures
  • Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and safety
  • Provide hands‑on support as required to meet operational needs
