We are seeking a Maintenance Technician (Temp-to-Hire) to support our Orange County and San Diego facilities. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with basic maintenance experience who takes pride in creating clean, functional, and well-maintained spaces. You’ll work closely with our Facilities Manager and operations teams to ensure our treatment environments remain safe, compliant, and welcoming. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications a plus
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid California Driver’s License, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required
  • Must pass a Livescan criminal background check as required by licensing authorities
  • CPR & First Aid Certification required

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic maintenance tasks including painting, minor plumbing repairs, and general upkeep
  • Prepare mental health facilities for client use, ensuring spaces are safe, clean, and functional
  • Assemble and place furniture; mount fixtures and equipment as needed
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify repair or replacement needs
  • Lift, move, and transport materials and equipment safely and efficientl
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety policies
  • Report major repair needs or safety hazards promptly to the Facilities Manager
  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and program teams to support smooth facility operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to meet organizational needs
