About The Position
The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of general maintenance tasks including masonry, plumbing, rough carpentry, painting, welding, and overall building maintenance. This role involves installing motors and lights, running conduit, and repairing basic hydraulic cylinders and simple gear boxes, often with assistance from a supervisor or lead person. The technician is required to follow all safety regulations and wear necessary safety equipment.
Requirements
- Two- and one-half years maintenance and electrical experience in an industrial setting or two-year degree in maintenance and electronics.
Responsibilities
- Performs general masonry, plumbing, rough carpentry, painting, welding and building maintenance.
- Installs motors, lights, runs conduit, repairs basic hydraulic cylinders and simple gear boxes as assisted by supervisor or lead person.
- Follow all safety regulations and wears required safety equipment.
