We’re looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanic who’s strong in mechanical repair and electrical troubleshooting. You’ll keep production equipment running safely and efficiently while helping improve reliability across the plant. Requirements

  • 2 + years’ experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance or relevant field.
  • Proficient with use of power tools, measuring devices, lathe and/or milling machinery
  • Previous experience using bearing heaters, interference fits, and/or removing gear boxes or seized bearings/shafts
  • Previous experience with stick and MIG welding.
  • Will need to fabricate projects as well as make welding repairs
  • Proficient Electrical skills
  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components
  • Read and comprehend schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems
  • Able to use multi-meter, megger, and other test equipment
  • Maintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
  • Collaborative; Works in the spirit of partnership.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical certificates or equivalent experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components (motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, chains, belts, pulleys, rollers, etc.)
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems (cylinders, valves, solenoids, pumps) and build hydraulic hoses as needed
  • Perform welding and fabrication repairs (MIG & stick) in various positions
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, multimeter, and megger
  • Install and align new equipment using hoists, jacks, and precision tools
  • Troubleshoot and support VFD drives (SEW, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley)
  • Test equipment, identify needed parts, complete repairs, and document preventative maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures
  • Work at heights and use equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and scissor lifts as needed
