About The Position

Maintain, repair, and install mechanical, structural and electrical equipment and systems in a support role to the department journeymen level craftsmen. This position is responsible for general maintenance tasks in the various maintenance department shops, assisting other maintenance personnel with tasks, and any other tasks deemed necessary. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Need to have mechanical aptitude to assist various trades.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills preferred.
Completion of a trade school program is preferred.
Carpentry, plumbing or mechanical skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

Record personal work orders and submit hours to supervisor on a daily basis.

Responsible for assisting in setting-up appropriate level of infection control containment (ICRA) based on risk level and maintaining the integrity of that containment.

Exhibit a basic knowledge of electricity, carpentry/hardware repairs, plumbing, or mechanical equipment and systems.
Perform general maintenance work and tasks as directed with minimal supervision .

Assist with and maintain general cleaning duties on equipment and in mechanical support areas.
Perform specific preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
Perform any maintenance work required in which skills can be utilized.

Performs other duties as assigned.
