About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations during night shift. Location: Madison, MS Pay : $30–$38 per hour (based on experience) Overtime: 1.5× after 40 hours Shift & Schedule Night Shift: 9:00 PM – end of shift (typically 5:00–6:00 AM)

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
1–2 years of technical training or 2–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience
Electrical troubleshooting experience required
Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals
General fabrication skills for special projects
Safe operation of shop equipment (lathes, mills, band saws, etc.)
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

PLC and HMI troubleshooting experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (required), as well as mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
Complete major equipment overhauls and calibrate electrical controls
Install, maintain, and repair electrical utilities and systems
Support equipment setup and utilities startup for production lines
Diagnose issues using schematics, prints, PLCs, HMIs, and PC-based interfaces
Accurately document maintenance activities and complete work orders
Maintain 5S standards and follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and hot work procedures
Train and assist other maintenance team members as needed
Operate lift equipment and work at heights when required
Support quality, environmental, and safety initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned
