About The Position

Village Green is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. This position is responsible for the timely completion of work orders and special projects, including plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair/replacement. The role involves servicing residents in a customer service-oriented manner, diagnosing and repairing electrical problems, and responding to on-call emergencies as directed by management. The Maintenance Technician will also assist in maintaining the property's exterior, perform housekeeping duties, snow removal when needed, and property maintenance for pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable. Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • General computer knowledge
  • Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting
  • Availability for on-call purposes
  • Flexibility and ability to work weekends when necessary

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 year's of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing
  • Plumbing, contracting, and builders' certifications and licenses

Responsibilities

  • Timely completion of work orders and special projects
  • Knowledge in HVAC
  • Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests
  • Completion of apartment turns, including Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall repair, Painting, Appliance repair/replacement
  • Servicing residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner
  • Diagnoses problems and repairs in the areas of electrical
  • Responds to all service requests on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, which must be completed in a timely and professional manner
  • Assists in maintaining the exterior of the property daily to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times
  • Housekeeping duties as required
  • Snow removal during winter months, when needed
  • Performs property maintenance of pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable
