Requirements

A minimum of 1 Year preventive maintenance experience in manufacturing environment required.
Must have a stable work history.
Must have mechanical ability with experience using hand and power tools.
Must have experience working a forklift.
This position is physically demanding, requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, walking, crouching and climbing ladders.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Terminal Manager, will perform basic inspection and preventive maintenance of department equipment and machinery.
Loads bulk and sack trucks
Replacement, repair and preventive maintenance of dust collectors (DC) and bags
Operates Forklift and Sweeper
Performs cleanout and preventive maintenance of DC piping and ports
Clean, prepare and/or inspect various equipment and/or areas as assigned
Perform basic clean-up in area using brooms, shovel, wheelbarrow, etc.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area and following all safety procedures
Perform daily pre-operational inspection on equipment and document inspection.
Operates and performs a basic function with Front End Loader, Skid Loader, Euclid, Guzzler, Utility Trucks
Replaces DC bags
Cleanout and preventive maintenance of DC screws
Inspection and replacement of brass valves and airlines
Disassembly, reassembly, and replacement of parts on the access ramp
Replacement and preventive maintenance of rotary valves, faceplates, air rams, DC dampers and moister traps
Minor welding and patchwork and relocation of a variety of department equipment
Maintenance, repair and replace a variety of office and other equipment and systems
