Trinity Elms Campus is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance technician! Pay will depend on experience Schedule: Monday-Friday (With on-call rotation) 3 years of Maintenance experience is preferred. Essential Functions (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.) 1. Performs preventative maintenance of equipment. 2. Diagnoses equipment problems. 3. Makes repairs to equipment. 4. Is familiar with and experienced in swimming pool and sauna tub systems and maintenance. 5. Interacts with staff, residents, vendors, and regulatory agency personnel on a regular basis. 6. Serves as first responder in emergencies, including administering first aid; utilizes emergency firefighting and medical equipment. 7. Operates two-way radio. 8. Communicates with emergency personnel. 9. Serves as security officer on first shift. 10. Must be prepared to work any shift. 11. Must be prepared to serve on-call 24/7 every 5th week, or as scheduled. 12. Performs other duties as specified by the Maintenance Supervisor and Director.

  • Performs other duties as specified by the Maintenance Supervisor and Director.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance or maintenance-related experience.
  • The Maintenance Technician must possess a high skill level in the following disciplines:
  • Electricity and electrical circuits, both AC and DC. Switch gear up to 480 VAC.
  • HVAC equipment to include chillers, boilers, gas fired heating systems, and heat pumps.
  • Plumbing, piping systems, fire sprinkler systems, valves, soldering and brazing of copper, and threading of pipe.
  • Carpentry, framing, trim work, layout and design
  • TV and telephone systems, cable and wire splicing, troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Painting, preparation of surfaces, drywall repair; plaster repair, operation of air compressors and paint spray equipment.
  • Possess the ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints, layout drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Understand building codes, building structures including foundations, footings, roof structure, doors, and windows.
  • Possess a working knowledge of OSHA regulations, Life Safety Code and Fire Code regulations.
  • Must have a working knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines, minor automobile repair, and working knowledge of generator equipment.
  • Must have working knowledge of power tools and the use of associated safety equipment.
  • Must be patient with difficult staff and residents.
  • Must be CPR certified or pass on-site CPR certification; possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
  • Must be a Certified Pool Technician or able and willing to pass a pool certification course.
  • Ambulatory throughout all locations.
  • Proven ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead.
  • Working hours sometimes unpredictable.
  • Exposure to chemicals and toxic substances.
  • Exposure to garbage and waste materials.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
