San Marco Area Maintenance Technician
About The Position
We have a great opportunity for a motivated Apartment Maintenance Make Ready Technician to join our company. We are a family owned and managed company that has been in the multi-family industry for over 30 years. We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 2 years in the Maintenance Industry. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Complete make readies with electrical, plumbing, and some carpentry as needed Complete work orders as directed by Community Manager and or Lead Maintenance Repair structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls, and building exteriors Complete preventative maintenance program Complete grounds work such as grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping Have a working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems is preferred but not required for this position Represent the company in a professional manner at all times Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required
Requirements
- One year of property maintenance experience preferred
- Willing to rotate 24-hour emergency maintenance on-call
- Possession of valid driver’s license and up to date vehicle insurance OR reliable transportation
- Prior to employment pass criminal background screening
Nice To Haves
- Have a working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems is preferred but not required for this position
