What You’ll Get to Do The 2 nd shift Maintenance Tech is focused on mechanical/electrical performance of automated production machines and reports to the Plant Manager. This role is perfect for an individual who hands on, responsible, with great communication skills. A vital member of the Maintenance Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include Be responsible for the mechanical/electrical performance of several automated production machines or equipment that perform one or more function in glass. Maintain and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure the production of high-quality glass. Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment in a safe and efficient manner and make repairs as needed. Perform preventative maintenance tasks in order to increase equipment run time between failures. Assist management in root cause analysis when failures occur.

Requirements

• Must have experienced skills and knowledge with troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and operation of high-speed production machinery both electrical and mechanical.
• Experience with industrial electrical equipment, CNC, PLC’s/Driver and motors.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
